I’m Aurel Manea and this is my site, dedicated to my projects (photography, technical, video, AI) and blog.
Professionally  I am a multidisciplinary technical artist (you can see more more on y CV)
I am bipolar and this makes my life a weird, weird ride for me and the people around me but sometimes this also gives me superpowers and gets me on television studios or world news for some impressive thing I did (first handheld astrophotography photo, first photorealistic AI generated AI images since I was an AI enthusiast long before the hype, first romanian VR app etc, first nation wide viral AI video etc)

As a hobby as you can see I spend most my time photographing stuff here and there, generating AI, writing and just personal projects out of passion. I started photography somewhere in 2004 for romantic reasons and evolved ever since around this hobby. Somehow over the years it grew much more than anyone would have expected.

Why “DYSTALGIA” ?
The way I figured it out it is an imaginary word that represents a sort of nostalgia  towards a past or present that never was. but with the right choices and circumstances could have been. Due to exposure to psychedelics I now have a vision of the world where reality is just another dream in an infinity of possible dreams that make up an infinity of possible worlds and ways to exist in this weird little universe of ours.


So anyway, enjoy my site, I tried to hold on to it for decades and updating (not an easy job).
